24×18.5/graphite/coloured pencil – titled “…oh no, my mammary glands are acting up again!”
I just finished this piece for a client in Saskatchewan. Right off the bat he said, “I want fish, a boat, trees, and birds for a west coast feel.” So…this is what I came up with -
24×36, graphite, watercolour, coloured pencil. Titled – “…uncle jim, why do they call it shit-hawk island?”
I started studying the human structure the other day. I have to say, opposed to my normal contoured style, it’s actually quite fun to attempt more of a realistic approach, because you never know what’s going to turn up. I’m just stoked to reach the day where I can pull a surreal creature from my mind and bring it to life with this newly found skill. pumped.
